Do you have a paper due soon and have citations to format but don’t know where to start? This is the workshop for you!
Citation without Tears - The Science Edition! is a workshop led by librarians who will demystify the citation formatting process. You will be introduced to the “Big 3”: APA, MLA, and Chicago. You will walk out of the workshop with a better understanding of how to identify and find parts of a citation, and then how to put it all together according APA, MLA, or Chicago styles.
Duration: 60 minutes Breakdown: 35-minute presentation, 20-25 minutes for questions and open lab. You are encouraged to bring a laptop and a paper you are working on so you can use the time to apply what you’ve learned. Audience: Anyone who is new to or has little experience with and wants to learn more about formatting citations.
