Learning Glass Lightboard technology is simple: LED lighting on specialized glass creates a transparent white board that illuminates writing with neon markers.  Learning Glass grew out of a pilot project in 2014 at San Diego State University to study the effectiveness of lightboard video in online and face-to-face instruction.  It was discovered that students performed better, retained more information, and preferred the Learning Glass instruction over other instructional video formats and conventional classroom whiteboard and overhead projection instruction.
