Business Enterprise: Company Research via Teams Online
Workshop attendees will learn to efficiently gather, analyze, and evaluate company research sources for their assignment using GlobalData Explorer, Statista, and ProQuest Business One through WMU Libraries. Sources gathered will include books, a company analysis report with a SWOT analysis, a collection of statistical charts from various sources in one report, and news and trade journal articles from business publications such as the Wall Street Journal. Attendees will be taught how to search and filter results to increase relevancy and reduce browsing time, how to critically assess the quality and applicability of sources using AI tools, and how to generate and proofread citations for the sources found using APA style.
