Plan Your Project with Data Workflows

Plan Your Project with Data Workflows In-person Online

Description: Are you starting a new data project for a class, research, or as part of work? Set yourself up for success by creating a data workflow, a tool that will help you identify your project needs, keep track of your sources, and serve as scaffolding to create organized files.
Whether you are reusing existing data or collecting your own, Daria Orlowska, data librarian, will guide you through two structures that you can use to stay organized while you're brainstorming. Bring your own projects to get a head start or engage with the examples to gather ideas for the future.

Learning Outcomes: Identify project needs; Break down research questions into components; Visualize goals through workflow; Construct research documents based on outline
