Introduction to Systematic Reviews Online

Systematic reviews and meta-analyses are often considered the “gold standard” of health and biomedical research, bringing together all available research on a topic. This workshop will provide an introduction to systematic reviews – the main components of systematic reviews, methodological considerations for researchers, and resources and techniques for finding and using systematic reviews in your research. We will learn about the PIECES model for conducting a successful systematic review: Plan, Identify, Evaluate, Collect, Explain, and Summarize.
